Dr. Zak Goodman

Dr. Zak Goodman has been active his whole life. He started playing hockey at 2 years old, martial arts at 4 years old, wrestling at 13, and collegiate lacrosse. He graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in Exercise Science and became a certified Strengthening and Conditioning Specialist to train athletes at highly competitive levels. Dr. Zak decided to go to chiropractic school to increase his ability and knowledge to better serve the community.

A few months before he was supposed to begin the chiropractic program, he was in a motor vehicle accident. “I didn’t recognize any injuries immediately following the accident…”

Over the months leading up to chiropractic school Dr. Zak started to accumulate symptoms that did not seem related to one another including sciatica, neck pain, and elbow tendonitis. Once enrolled in chiropractic school at Life University in Marietta, GA, his symptoms worsened quickly. “The next 2 years would be the most difficult of my life.” He experienced brain fog and memory loss, nerve pain and limb numbness, and blurred vision and ringing in the ears. Over those 2 years he saw five doctors and went through a series of lab tests, all while still going through graduate school. For the first time in his life, Dr. Zak was inactive.

Finally, Dr. Zak found an Upper Cervical Specific chiropractor. This UC chiropractor was very thorough with his evaluation and specific with his adjustment. Within the first week of care, only one adjustment, Dr. Zak’s symptoms reduced significantly! After a short period of recovery, he was able to become active again! This is the reason why Dr. Zak decided to become an Upper Cervical chiropractor. “My purpose is to help those in their time of need and give them another chance to be an active participant in the world, no matter where they are in life.”
